What we do

A place for every season of life

From Sunday worship to midweek community, from children learning their first songs to adults leaning into hard questions, Mt. Moriah African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church exists to help everyday people follow Jesus together.

Sunday Worship

Join us Sunday mornings for worship, teaching from Scripture, and community. We also gather Wednesday afternoons and at other times throughout the week. Everyone is welcome, whatever you're wearing or wherever you're coming from.

Kids Ministry

We welcome children through fifth grade in safe, caring environments where they learn about God's love. All volunteers working with children are background-checked.

Student Ministry

We invite middle and high school students to grow in faith, ask honest questions, and build real friendships in a welcoming space.

Small groups

Gather in homes for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. We meet throughout the week to build deeper connections and grow together in faith.

Serve locally and beyond

We reach out through food pantries, tutoring, recovery support, prison ministry, and school partnerships. Our outreach extends to regional, national, and international efforts, grounded in hands-on service to neighbors.

Pastoral Care

Prayer, counseling, hospital visits, and the steady presence of our pastoral team when you need spiritual support and comfort.

We gather on Sundays and Wednesdays to pray, study scripture, and encourage one another. Small groups meet throughout the week so we can know each other deeply and support each other as we follow Jesus.

We serve locally and beyond through a pantry, tutoring, recovery support, prison ministry, and work in schools. What we receive from God's grace, we share freely with our neighbors, our city, and the world.
